Slow cooker Moroccan Lamb Shawarma by The Greedy Fox

This delicious slow Cooker Moroccan Lamb shawarma is packed full of warming middle eastern flavour. Serve with flatbreads, salad, pomegranate and cous cous for a real Moroccan treat.
Ingredients
1.5kg Lamb Shoulder
1 White Onion, sliced
1 400g Tin Chopped Tomato
Coriander roughly chopped
1 Tsp Garlic, we use a lazy variety
250ml Good Quality beef stock
1 Tbsp The Greedy Fox Moroccan Seasoning
oil
Salt
Method
Cut all visible fat off the lamb and discard.
Heat a frying pan and add the oil
Season the lamb with salt and sear on all sides in the pre heated frying pan.
Add the beef stock, tomatoes, onion, garlic and The Greedy Fox Moroccan Seasoning to the slow cooker and mix well.
Place the seared lamb on top of the onion mixture, cover.
Cook on high for 1 hr the reduce the heat to low and cook for 7hrs.
Remove the meat from the slow cooker and roughly carve into bitesize chunks.
Stir through the coriander.
Serve this slow cooker moroccan lamb shawarma in pitta breads with pomegranate, cous cous and yogurt. Or on its own with cous cous.
Top Tip, Remove the meat 1hr from finishing time and finish on the bbq, this makes it even more awesome finished over hot coals.
