Onion Bhaji by The Greedy Fox

Homemade Onion Bhaji are well worth the hassle. a perfect snack or accompaniment for your favourite Indian meal.
Ingredients
500g White onion.
1 Tbsp The Greedy Fox Goan Seasoning
100g gluten free plain flour/ normal flour will work just as well
1 red chilli finely chopped [optional, if you want a kick]
Handful roughly chopped coriander
A few TBSP water
Method
Cut the onions in half, remove the root and peel.
Slice the onions and add to a bowl with the chilli [if using], Goan seasoning mix well.
Pre heat the fryer 180deg
Add the coriander and flour to the onion mix and season to taste.
Pour the water in a TBSP at a time mix well to form a batter thick enough so that when rolled in to loose balls they hold their shape.
With moistened hands roll into loose balls.
Working in small batches carefully drop each ball into the fryer and fry until golden.
Serve the Onion Bhaji with yogurt as a snack or as an accompaniment to your favourite Indian meal
