Low Fat Hummus by The Greedy Fox

Our low fat Hummus is the best side dish ever! We make this so often as a taster at food shows and people love it (we have even converted lots of Hummus haters!) Once you have tasted this without oil it will leave you wandering why oil was ever added to hummus in the first place. Plus it makes it Slimming Friendly. We have discovered just how incredible Aquafaba (the chickpea water) is, it makes a brilliant egg white substitute. Its so satisfying knowing that you can make something amazing out of something you would have previously just thrown away. Adding a little Greedy Fox Seasoning lifts the Hummus to new heights. Add any seasoning you are in the mood for whatever compliments your dish!

Ingredients

400g Can of Chickpeas (reserving a little of the liquid)
1tbsp of Tahini
1 tsp Garlic
1 tsp of Sea salt
6 tbsp Chickpea water (roughly, it really depends on the consistency you like)
1tsp Lemon Juice
Coriander or Parsley (optional)
1 tsp of The Greedy Fox Seasoning (whichever you fancy!)

Method

1) Drain the chickpeas (keeping back the liquid)
2) Add all ingredients into food processor and blend

3) Sprinkle a little extra seasoning on top
